The Early Education Development Program (EEDP) launched by D.A.V. Education Board is being followed from classes Nursery to V. Here the children are taught through activities taking them from concrete to abstract with the use of educational aids. The kids are not put through the stress of examinations being assessed against a checklist of milestones to be achieved at every stage. Each child is judged against his/her own previous performance. Homework here is kept to the minimum. As far as possible homework is given in the form of worksheets and project work.

Calligraphy classes are a part of the regular timetable for classes III and IV wherein English and Hindi handwriting is taught by an expert, Mr. Arun Jagdev . The school has also introduced the Cambridge Young Learners English Tests for classes II to VII. These tests are conducted through the British Council with the aim of enhancing language skills and encouraging positive learning experiences coupled with systematic language testing in a stress free environment.
